Command & workspace

12/43

Run operations, cases and briefings — and everything you produce.

  • Operation Theatre

Watch an autonomous investigation unfold live — Blackout resolves the identity, expands the network into a constellation, geolocates the infrastructure and scores the threat in real time, then hands you a briefing.

    Professional
  • War Room

The live operational command centre — a cinematic global theatre fusing your watchlist threat board, DEFCON posture, recurring entities, live intelligence feed and worldwide operations into one screen.

    Professional
  • Priority Requirements

Declare the standing questions that matter to you — geography, keywords and thresholds — and Blackout scores the live world against them continuously, surfacing answers without you going looking.

    Professional
  • Intelligence Exchange

Import and inspect STIX 2.x intelligence, preserve relationships, markings and confidence, pivot observables into Blackout collection and file external intelligence into a case.

    Professional
  • Sighting Ledger

Record when an entity was actually observed — first seen, last seen, source, confidence and notes — so repeated observations become a defensible time series rather than duplicate case notes.

    Professional
  • Universal Search

Search cases, reports, evidence, sightings, graph entities and operational history as one organisation-scoped intelligence corpus — without remembering which module first found the subject.

    Professional
  • Evidence Review Queue

Analyst quality-control for structured findings — review source grade and evidence, accept or reject conclusions, return weak items for more work, and preserve the review decision in the intelligence record.

    Professional
  • Workflow Builder

Build, save and run repeatable investigation workflows by chaining Blackout collectors in a controlled sequence — with per-step outputs, failures and case filing preserved.

    Professional
  • Handling & Taxonomy

Apply TLP-style handling, internal sensitivity and organisation taxonomy tags to intelligence so sharing rules and analytic context travel with the item rather than living in someone’s memory.

    Professional
  • Intelligence Connectors

Secure read-only connections to MISP, OpenCTI and TAXII 2.1 — encrypted credentials, connection health, auditable pulls and direct pivots from external intelligence into Blackout.

    Professional
  • Auto-Investigate

One-click OSINT — enter any target (domain, email, username, IP) and get a live compiled intelligence brief.

  • World Engine

The record under the live picture: event, publication and collection time kept apart, every correction and retraction preserved, and the difference between a new story, a changed one and the same one arriving again — plus the regions, languages and topics nobody here covers.

    Professional
  • Mission Compiler

A plain-language requirement becomes a collection plan you read before it runs — lanes, budgets, the authority it is run under, what would make it stop, and the two searches it would otherwise have duplicated or missed.

    Professional
  • Proof Compiler

A report that carries its own analysis: every step from retained snapshot to finding, labelled by whether it can be replayed exactly, re-run with a different answer, or only recorded — because replaying a calculation proves nothing about a judgement.

    Professional
  • Evidence Futures

Collection ordered by how soon the evidence stops being available — a published deadline, an estimated window, or unknown, kept apart, because an unknown that renders as a number is a guess wearing a measurement.

    Professional
  • Inference Stress Chamber

Which conclusions survive a plausible correction — remove a source family, collapse syndicated copy, fix a timezone, take the second-best entity match. Reports stability under the tests that were run, never a probability that a finding is true.

    Professional
  • Source Forge

The collection control plane — what each connector is contracted to cover, which workflows lose capability when it fails, its circuit state and backoff, and any provider schema change, proposed as an inert repair that waits for a human.

    Professional
  • Case Fusion

Cross-case correlation that finds exact shared domains, emails, IPs, hashes, wallets and other structured selectors across investigations — surfacing hidden overlaps as leads without pretending that correlation proves common ownership or cause.

    Professional
  • Claim & Hypothesis Lab

Analysis of Competing Hypotheses for any investigation — state alternative explanations, test each observation against all of them, surface contradictions and gaps, and preserve the analytic matrix with the case instead of hiding the reasoning behind a conclusion.

    Professional
  • Counterfactual Radar

Competing explanations for a developing situation, with what each one predicts you would see — and a check that the source which would hold that evidence actually covered the period, place and topic before its silence is allowed to count against anything.

    Professional
  • Capability Map

The OSINT field surveyed area by area — the public tools that define each one, and whether this platform covers it, partly covers it, has a gap, or refuses it and why.

  • Link Analysis

Visual entity-relationship graphs — connect people, orgs, domains, emails and more, then expand with transforms.

  • Intelligence Graph

Your persistent knowledge base — every entity from every saved case, deduped and linked into one graph that compounds over time and surfaces shared people & infrastructure.

    Professional
  • Bulk Investigate

Investigate many targets at once — each fully assessed, threat-scored, ranked, and exported as one combined report.

    Professional
  • Watchlist

Continuous monitoring — put any target under watch and get alerted the moment its exposure shifts: new ports, fresh CVEs, breaches, infrastructure moves.

  • Profile Builder

Automated identity resolution — enter any selector and Blackout auto-pivots across every source, fuses linked identities into one scored subject dossier with a relationship graph, and exports it.

  • Auto-Pilot

Autonomous investigation — give one target and Blackout resolves the identity, expands the whole connected network, correlates your cases and writes the assessment, hands-free.

    Professional
  • Anomaly Detection

Statistical anomaly detection across your watchlist — surfaces exposure-change surges and active-threat spikes against each target’s own baseline, so emerging escalations find you.

    Professional
  • Entity Annotations

Pin persistent, live-updating notes to any entity — domain, IP, email, username or case — building shared analyst context that follows the entity across your workspace.

  • Executive Briefing

Turn a full technical workup into a board-ready narrative — bottom line, key judgements, risk rating and recommendations, in executive prose (AI-authored when an Anthropic key is connected).

    Professional
  • Ask Intelligence

Conversational OSINT — ask a question in plain English; Blackout runs live lookups on any domain/IP/email you mention, cross-references your cases, and answers grounded in real data.

    Professional
  • Source Reliability

Grade sources and information on the NATO Admiralty System — attach standardised reliability×credibility ratings to every finding and keep a source register, so confidence travels with your intelligence.

  • Investigation Playbooks

Named, repeatable investigation workflows — chain Blackout’s modules into one automated run (domain due diligence, entity screening, infrastructure threat assessment) with live step-by-step results.

    Professional
  • Email Forensics

SOC-grade phishing triage — paste a raw email and Blackout reconstructs the delivery path, verifies SPF/DKIM/DMARC, flags spoofing and extracts every indicator, locally.

  • Data Extractor

Paste any blob — breach dumps, email headers, logs, chat exports — and Blackout extracts every email, IP, domain, URL, wallet, phone, CVE, hash and key locally, each one-click investigable.

  • Case Management

Run investigations as cases — bundle saved reports and evidence, keep a timestamped notes timeline, and track status and priority from open to closed.

    Professional
  • Intelligence Briefings

Automated recurring intelligence digests — watchlist changes, new high-threat findings and case activity compiled on a daily or weekly cadence and emailed to you as a branded PDF.

    Professional
  • SITREP

Command center — a live operational picture fusing your watchlist alerts, portfolio threat, recurring cross-case entities and global live events into one posture readout.

    Professional
  • Live Operations

Real-time global situational awareness — live earthquakes, aircraft, wildfires, storms and volcanoes plotted on one world map, streaming 24/7.

  • Maps

Geospatial plotting of entities, movements and areas of interest.

  • Timeline

Reconstruct chronologies across every piece of collected evidence.

  • Evidence Locker

Chain-of-custody storage for artefacts, screenshots and exports.

    Professional
  • Reports

Generate court-ready intelligence reports from any investigation.

    Professional

Identity & due diligence

1/7

People, companies, sanctions and adverse-media screening.

  • Adverse Media

Negative-news screening for KYC and due diligence — scan global news coverage of any person or company for fraud, corruption, litigation, sanctions and criminal reporting, categorised.

    Professional
  • Corporate Intelligence

Global corporate intelligence with no key required — legal entity identity and ownership hierarchy (GLEIF), US SEC registrant and filing history, French national registry records with officers and filed financials, the Irish register with status and accounts filing history, and the Brazilian register by CNPJ with officers and share capital. Connect a free Companies House key for full UK officer, ownership and filing depth.

    Professional
  • Counterparty Check

Pre-engagement due enquiry on a party you are about to advise on, contract with or litigate against — ownership, sanctions and adverse media, all three required, with every concern referred to a fee-earner rather than absorbed. Sealed, so the file can be checked by the other side.

    Professional
  • Supplier Check

Procurement due diligence in one pass — ownership, sanctions, adverse media and digital footprint, assessed against your policy. Tells you plainly when a required check could not be carried out, and what changed since last time.

    Professional
  • Sanctions Screening

KYC / AML due diligence — screen any person or entity against live sanctions and watchlists with fuzzy name matching, scored candidate matches and programme details.

    Professional
  • Due Diligence Pack

Everything on one company, in one document. Statutory registers, officers and beneficial ownership, sanctions screening on the registered legal name, adverse media, the registered office looked up from the filing itself, and the open-web record — with a single collection record covering the whole search.

    Professional
  • People Intelligence

Resolve identities from names, aliases and partial data across public records.

Digital & infrastructure

9/21

Domains, certificates, attack surface, vulnerabilities and crypto.

  • Threat Attribution

Attribute a target’s exposure profile to known threat actors — Blackout maps the attack surface to ATT&CK techniques, then ranks the APT and cybercrime groups whose playbooks overlap.

    Professional
  • ATT&CK Mapper

Map a target to the MITRE ATT&CK matrix — Blackout lights up the adversary techniques its real attack surface enables, and exports a Navigator layer for your SOC.

    Professional
  • Infrastructure Correlation

Given a set of entities, determine which of them are the same operation. Shared registrars, nameservers, netblocks, mail infrastructure, account-bound verification tokens and registration timing are weighted by how much each actually narrows the field — so commodity providers used by millions never link strangers.

    Professional
  • Attack Surface

External attack-surface management — discover every internet-facing asset an organisation exposes (subdomains, hosts, open ports, services, CVEs) and score it into a single exposure grade.

    Professional
  • Vulnerability Intelligence

Assess any CVE with live NVD, EPSS and CISA KEV data — CVSS severity, real-world exploit probability, affected products, and whether it is actively exploited in the wild.

    Professional
  • DNS Security Posture

Audit a domain’s DNS and email-authentication hardening — SPF, DKIM, DMARC, MTA-STS, DNSSEC and CAA — graded A–F with every record and a fix for each gap.

    Professional
  • Certificate Intelligence

Certificate Transparency reconnaissance — enumerate every subdomain and TLS certificate ever issued for a domain, spot freshly-minted and lookalike certs, and map the issuing CAs.

    Professional
  • Image Forensics

Drop any photo to expose GPS capture location, camera and lens, timestamps and authenticity signals, with Content Credentials (C2PA) verified against the C2PA Trust List — read in your browser. Opt into deep analysis for solar-position verification against the claimed time and place, perceptual fingerprints, AI-generator declarations, encoder fingerprinting and an exact-copy web search.

  • Advanced Search

Composes advanced search-engine operators — exposed files, misconfigurations, login panels, credentials, social footprint — scoped to the search engine that actually covers the target’s region (Yandex, Baidu, Naver), explained and graded by sensitivity. Opens real, live results in a new tab; nothing is scraped or stored.

  • Deep Search

One search across six indexes at once. Results kept apart by how many independent indexes agree, and the pages an archive holds that no live index returns any more shown first. Brave, Google and Yandex light up with your own keys; the rest need none.

    Professional
  • Phone Intelligence

Carrier, line type, reputation and linked-account enrichment.

  • Email Intelligence

Deliverability, disposable/role detection and breach signals (deeper with a Hunter.io key).

  • Username Intelligence

Sweep 97 platforms from a single handle and get back what can be defended: confirmed accounts with direct links, genuine absences, and an explicit list of the sites that refused to answer — never a refusal reported as an absence.

  • Domain Intelligence

WHOIS, full DNS, email security, hosting geolocation and certificate-transparency subdomains.

  • IP Intelligence

Geolocation, ASN, ISP, hosting/proxy detection and reverse DNS for any IP address.

  • Social Media Intelligence

Cross-platform profile aggregation, network mapping and activity timelines.

  • Brand Threat Radar

Typosquat & phishing detection — generates look-alike domains for your brand and flags the ones already registered, before they are used against you.

    Professional
  • Deep & Dark

Breach, leak & dark-web intelligence — detailed breach analytics and paste exposure for emails, and Tor-index (onion) search for any selector or keyword.

    Professional
  • Threat Intelligence

IOC reputation — aggregate live threat signals (Shodan risk tags & CVEs, Tor-exit membership, proxy/hosting, AbuseIPDB via BYOK) for any IP or domain into one verdict.

    Professional
  • Crypto Intelligence

Wallet intelligence for Bitcoin & Ethereum — live balance, transaction activity and token exposure from any address.

  • Blockchain Forensics

Fund-flow tracing for BTC & ETH — map a wallet’s counterparties, inbound/outbound flows and flag known exchange & mixer (Tornado.Cash) interactions.

    Professional

Geospatial

2/4

Map targets and their infrastructure across the world.

  • Geospatial Mapping

Map a target’s real-world infrastructure — resolve its web, mail and nameserver hosts, geolocate every IP, and plot the footprint across the live world map.

    Professional
  • Global Watch

Ten live sources in one sweep: two independent seismic networks, volcanic alert levels, tropical cyclones, severe weather, the UN’s global disaster alerts, NASA’s natural-event catalogue, space weather, military and emergency aircraft, and around nine hundred live traffic cameras. Every source reports whether it answered.

  • Premises Intelligence

What is actually at a UK address. Postcode to location, HM Land Registry price-paid transactions, recorded street crime for the police area with the caveat that makes it readable, and the neighbourhood policing team. Four keyless UK sources.

  • Vehicle Enquiry

UK vehicle due diligence from the official DVLA register — make, colour, engine, tax and MOT standing, export and V5C history. Establishes what a vehicle is, never where it has been.

    Professional

Developer & integrations

2/9

APIs, exports, webhooks and outbound connections.

  • Forensic Intake

Bring files and digital artefacts into Blackout with a local integrity fingerprint, static triage, printable-indicator extraction and immediate pivots into the wider investigation.

    Professional
  • Document Intake

Hash and extract PDF or text-based evidence locally, identify selectors inside documents, pivot them directly into Blackout and file the document-derived intelligence into a case.

    Professional
  • Log & Timeline Intake

Normalize CSV, JSON, NDJSON and timestamped log exports into a searchable chronology with selector extraction, case filing and optional insertion into Blackout’s shared operational timeline.

    Professional
  • Integrations & Export

Push alerts to Slack, Discord or Microsoft Teams, and export any report as a STIX 2.1 bundle or CSV for your SIEM, TAXII server, MISP or OpenCTI.

    Professional
  • AgentAudit

A tamper-evident record of what your AI agents decided. Each decision commits to the hash of the one before it, so a removal breaks the chain and not just the count. Assessed against the EU AI Act, the UK ATRS, UK GDPR, ISO/IEC 42001 and the NIST AI RMF — with the obligations no logging platform can assess named rather than scored.

  • Intelligence Estate

Where this workspace’s intelligence is currently wrong, across every investigation: two cases giving different answers about one subject, a source that carries weight and has stopped answering, and filings citing values the record has moved past. Ordered by whether somebody can be acting on it wrongly right now.

    Professional
  • Source Command

Every collector this platform reaches, grouped by discipline and separated by what is wrong with it: usable now, rate limited, awaiting a key you could add, failing, or never proven. With the Admiralty grade, the round trip, and which modules lose depth without it.

    Professional
  • Blackout Ecosystem

Every Blackout application, whether its bundle is actually deployed, how large it is, and what tier opens it. These are interfaces rather than services: the platform can open one, and cannot query it for findings.

  • Developer API

Issue API keys and webhooks to query Blackout intelligence from your own systems.

    Professional

Blackout applications

10/17

Standalone Blackout apps, embedded inside the OS.

  • Satellite Imagery

Recent Sentinel and Landsat imagery for any point on earth — compare dates, switch to infrared or false colour, and see what changed on the ground. Free Copernicus data, rendered by the EO Browser.

  • Maritime Board

Ports, harbours, navigation marks, shipping lanes and seamarks worldwide, on the open nautical chart. Includes the AIS vessel layer where receivers cover.

  • Satellite Tracking

Live position of any tracked object in orbit — ISS, Starlink, weather, reconnaissance and debris — with pass predictions for a given ground location.

  • Weather Board

Wind, rain, temperature, waves, swell and cloud, worldwide, animated forward on the forecast models. Useful for anything weather-dependent: shipping, aviation, agriculture, and dating an outdoor photograph.

  • Conflict Map

Geolocated conflict and security reporting as it is published, pinned to the map and timestamped, across the active theatres.

  • Radio Spectrum

Public software-defined radio receivers around the world, listenable in the browser. Tune HF, aviation, marine and amateur bands from a receiver physically located near whatever you are looking at.

  • Map Query

Query OpenStreetMap directly for any feature type anywhere on earth — every petrol station in a city, every embassy in a country, every mast along a border. Results plot on the map and export as GeoJSON.

    Professional
  • Sun & Shadow

Sun position, azimuth and shadow length for any place on any date and time. The standard way to date an outdoor photograph from its shadows, or to test whether a claimed time and place are consistent with each other.

    Professional
  • Live Sky

Every aircraft in the air right now, rendered live by ADSBexchange or airplanes.live — unfiltered, including the military and sensitive traffic mainstream trackers remove. Jump to any region and open a full-screen view.

  • Blackout Globe

The Global Intelligence Console: live world events from twelve public sources on a 3D globe, graded by the sources themselves and linked back to them, plus live news channels, traffic cameras, weather satellites and NASA fire detections.

  • BlackFiles

Find declassified documents: one search across 18 live archive channels, including the CIA Reading Room, FBI Vault and national archives, with 25 more archives opened with your query. Every result links to the archive that holds it.

  • Operative Platform

Unified operative console — SITREP, live ledger, verification and case management.

    Professional
  • Digital Passport

A specimen digital identity wallet in the GOV.UK style, showing how issuing and checking a credential would work under the UK digital identity and attributes trust framework. It is a demonstration: not a live identity service, not certified, and the credentials it shows prove nothing.

  • AgentAudit Trust OS (terminal)

The original governance terminal: policy builder, controls and a view over this platform’s own activity log. Superseded for agent decision recording by AgentAudit.

    Enterprise
  • BCI-7 Operations

ATLAS terminal, profile builder, deception engine and NEXUS entity graph.

    Enterprise
  • Project Chronos

Temporal intelligence & horizon-scanning workspace for tracking events over time.

    Professional
  • Operations Console

Live multi-source operations feed — global events, seismic, weather and flight tracking.

What the money buys

The same collection, at every price

One search on one subject, 12 findings. Change the plan and watch the document change. Nothing below is a mock-up of the paywall: the masking is performed by the same function that runs on the server for paying customers.

Findings in full

8

Beyond this, a finding keeps its title, severity and grade — the values are masked.

Field values per finding

10

How deep a single finding is allowed to go before the rest is withheld.

Hosts probed per estate scan

12

How much of an organisation's estate one scan actively reaches.

8 of 12 findings readable in full

7 field values masked

A critical finding is never withheld

Switch to Explorer and the mail-capable host stays fully readable. Masking a sanctions hit or an exploited service from someone about to transact would be harmful, and the upgrade is sold on breadth rather than on hiding danger.

Nor is the collection record

Which collectors answered, and which did not, is readable on every plan. It is the cheapest possible proof the search was real, and hiding it would undo the argument the rest of the product rests on.

7 data points withheld on this scan

Professional returns the full depth on every lookup — all findings, all fields, and 24 hosts per estate scan.

See the plans

A second worked example, on a separate .example subject — RFC 2606 reserves the domain, so nobody can register it. The redaction is real; the subject is not.

These are the capabilities we cannot find in any competing product. Every one is verifiable in ours today.

Before you can file it

The three questions procurement asks.

Secure by design

Server-verified subscriptions, an AES-256 encrypted key vault and row-level data isolation. Access is never gated by client JavaScript.

Your queries stay yours

We do not sell, share or resell what you look up. Provider keys are yours, held encrypted, and billed to you — never pooled across customers.

Defensible by default

Every finding carries its source grade, its credibility rating and the record of which collectors answered. Export it and the reasoning travels with it.

Now check whether it can be defended.

A module list is a claim about capability. The next page is the part that matters: the report itself, how findings are graded, and what happens when a source refuses to answer.

See the evidence
